What We Believe
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, who is eternally existent in three Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and the most assured revelation of God, His character and complete plan, and also the infallible standard on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine. (2 Tim. 3:15-17; I Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, demonstrated the authority and power of God in word and works. He died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God as our High Priest and Mediator.
We believe that sin has separated us all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God.
We believe that salvation is provided by God who saved mankind only by grace and not by works, through having faith in the victory of Jesus on the cross. (Eph. 2:8)
We believe the Holy Spirit was sent by God the Father and the Son is continuing the work He started at Pentecost by empowering believers to continue the works of Jesus. (Jn. 14-16; Acts 2; I Cor. 5:16-21)
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and the temple of the Holy Spirit. Every born again believer is an essential part of the Church in all of its diversity, with divine tasks to impact the world with the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ.
